Smarthorse Software fully complies with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR). We are committed to protecting your personal data and processing it transparently, fairly and lawfully.

2. Your Rights under GDPR

In accordance with GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to be informed - you have the right to know how your data is collected and used
• Right of access - you can request a copy of the data we hold about you at any time
• Right to rectification - you can request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to erasure - you can request deletion of personal data in certain circumstances
• Right to portability - you can receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Right to object - you can object to data processing for direct marketing purposes

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds: your explicit consent (for marketing communications and non-essential cookies), contract execution (for providing contracted services), legal obligations (for invoice issuance and tax compliance) and our legitimate interest (for service improvement and website security).

4. Data Transfer

Your personal data is stored on secure servers within the European Union. If data transfer outside the EU is necessary (for example, for using cloud services), we ensure that adequate safeguards exist in accordance with Articles 46-49 of the GDPR, including standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
